Located in Los Angeles, Project Six’s therapeutic residential program assists adolescents in gaining the comprehensive skills necessary to successfully reintegrate into their local school, community, and family home. The program builds on The Help Group’s long history of providing residential treatment, special education, and therapeutic services.
The Commons is an agency of The Help Group. Founded in 1975, The Help Group is a nonprofit agency serving children with special needs related to autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, ADHD, developmental delays, abuse, trauma and emotional challenges. The Help Group has several specialized schools that offer pre-K through high school programs for more than 1,150 students. Its broad range of mental health and therapy services, child abuse and residential programs extends its reach to more than 6,000 children and their families each year. With more than 700 staff members, The Help Group’s state-of-the-art schools and programs are located on seven campuses in the Los Angeles area.
