A daily schedule is offered to provide structure and predictability. Residents are provided structured time to work on homework, participate in daily activity and/or therapeutic groups, complete community responsibilities and room care, and work on self-care and hygiene. Periods of downtime are also worked into the schedule to assist residents in gaining skills related to self-management and independence, in addition to exploring individual interests and hobbies.
